What is surface treatment?
Surface finishes represent an important step in the manufacturing of an elastomeric part. They can significantly improve the performance of elastomer seals and parts. We have experimented with numerous solutions and coatings to identify effective surface finishes for different applications, both static and dynamic.

The Chrilon® range
The Chrilon® chemical treatment range specifically developed by ITC Elastomères will make it possible to functionalize the polymer, that is to say to give it surface properties while perfectly preserving its mass properties. The treatment will cause a significant reduction in the coefficient of friction without altering the physicochemical properties of the material.
